The outer fabric is a modified, subtly textured AratoTM30 nylon fabric that is very durable. This lightweight fabric is hardwearing and packable, and has a DWR treatment to effectively shed moisture. Arc's zoned fill technology combines goose down with CoreloftTM synthetic insulation, which is used in moisture-prone areas such as the hood, cuffs and underarms. Down is used in the sleeves and main body areas. The Thorium jacket features a synthetically insulated StormhoodTM hood, two zippered pockets for small items, and an improved internal zippered storage pocket.
